The second season of Biswa Kalyan Rath’s Laakhon Mein Ek is very distant from the brand Biswa that is known for its humour and funny take on issues. After catering to the engineering audience in the first season by showing the IIT education coaching environment, Biswa chose the other favourite topic for parents, which is a career in Medical.
Released on Amazon Prime Video on April 12, the new season features a dedicated junior doctor, Shreya Pathare (Shweta Tripathi) and her struggle to survive in an environment of corruption, government apathy, and ignorance of the commoner.
The supporting consists of Yashwant Wasnik, Chandrashekhar Dutta, Ketki Narayana, Pravina Deshpande, Arun Nalavade, Ramakant Dayama and Aryan.
Tripathi’s character is trying to set up a camp in Sitlapur, ably helped by assistant Bhola (Rupesh Tillu). The story unfolds as Shweta’s character tries to fight institutionalized crime in the medical sector and tries to see hope in a dark world. Every character has its own emotional journey and the eight-episode series has done justice to each one.
